‘Longfield,’ is a historic rural property located 20 minutes from Goulburn, 45 minutes from Canberra and 2 hours from Sydney.
The Georgian homestead is almost two centuries old; the main house and surrounding buildings date back to 1838 and were built by an Irish immigrant and his family.
The homestead overlooks the Great Dividing Range and a creek which stems from the Lachlan River. With its view of the hills and valley it almost feels like it has its own natural amphitheatre. It is simply beautiful.
The gardens surrounding the homestead are available to host ceremonies, and receptions or other functions can be held within walking distance (100m) from the main house as well.
Enveloped in history, with an authentic country style, gorgeous gardens and breath-taking views, Longfield is a very special place.
